The meaning of beauty is relative. What is beautiful for one, may not be beautiful for the other. Each of us has our own standars for beauty, and it is what we use to see the “beauty” in the things that surround us. Being beautiful does not go hand in hand with being true or being good. Sometimes, what is good is not at all true nor beautiful and oftentimes what is true is not beautiful nor that good.
Standards were set to tell what real beauty is, but we hardly realize that it is these standards that blind us from seeing the “real” beauty a certain thing possesses. Most of the time, little things are left unappreciated and time was wasted looking for something beautiful. Sometimes we take for granted the things that are real or that are true for we are consumed with the our own standards or that we are stuck with the “concept” of the “ideal” beauty.
Basically, beauty matters on how we see through things. It simply depends on one’s perception, as a popular saying goes, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder..”
